Meta-Analysis of Web Page Designs

Recent research by Akamai Technologies reports that four seconds is the maximum length of time an average online shopper will wait for a Web page to load before abandoning a site. Moreover 75 percent of visitors were unlikely to shop on that site again. Thus, a good Web page design that is nicely formatted is essential to retain visitors. This paper will present a meta-analysis of the considerations that go in the design of a successful Web site.
