Creating a Conservation and Preservation Plan for the Domestic Clothing Collection in the Apparel, Textiles and Merchandising Program

The primary goal of this project was to conserve and preserve while developing a plan to create an accessible database of the domestic clothing collection held with the apparel, textiles and merchandising (ATM) program. This work entailed researching, conducting personal interviews and analysis of material artifacts as well as digital documentation. The students that participated in this project also developed a storage system to preserve garments and other artifacts for future use.
