Q. Does EMU block some of my email messages from getting to my inbox?

A. Email at EMU passes through scanning servers prior to delivery. These scanning servers remove viruses and analyze mail for content (such as SPAM) automatically.

Certain pattern-matched content triggers an automatic block on email. This includes viruses and certain kinds of attachments. These blocks are in place to protect EMU against not only know viruses, worms and trojan horses, but also potential threats from email that may appear legitimate to pattern-based detection.

Q. Does this mean my email is read?
A. No. All scanning is performed automatically. No interactive viewing of your mail takes place during this scanning.

A. You can attach an unlimited number of files to an email message, up to 50MB maximum total email size. *Warning* It is possible the recipient cannot receive a 50MB email message.
