Designating a Proxy

A proxy is someone who acts as an Approver or FYI on your behalf. The designated Proxy must comply with the Signatory Authority policy.

Follow these directions to designate a proxy:

  1. From the Electronic Personnel Action Form menu, click the EPAF Proxy Records link.

  2. The EPAF Proxy Records page is displayed. Click the Approval Level field pull-down arrow and select the desired approval level you want to assign your proxy, from the list.
  3. Click the GO button.

  4. The EPAF Proxy Records page is displayed. Click the Name field pull-down arrow and select the person you are assigning as your proxy, from the list.

    Note: To navigate quicker, click in the Name field and type the first letter of the proxy's name.

  5. Click to check the Add checkbox.
  6. Click the Save button.

  7. The selected name is added to the proxy list, above the Name field.

  8. When you are finished, click the Return to EPAF Menu link at the bottom of the page.
