Viewing a Student's Academic Transcript

Use the Academic Transcript link to view a student's academic transcript, including program and degree information, a list of all transfer and EMU credit course, and a summary of transfer and EMU credit courses by degree and level.

Follow these directions to view an academic transcript:

  1. Navigate to the Faculty Services menu. See Faculty Services Overview for more information
  2. Click the Student Information Menu link.

  3. The Student Information menu is displayed. Click the Academic Transcript link.

    Note: You may be prompted to select a term and student ID. See Term Selection and ID Selection for more information.
  4. The Student academic Transcript Options page is displayed. click the Transcript Level pull-down arrow and choose the transcript level you want to view.
  5. Click the Display Transcript button.

  6. The Student Academic Transcript page is displayed. Courses and grades are grouped by transfer or institution (EMU) credits. use the Vertical scroll bar to navigate to the Transfer Credit section.

    Note: Transfer credits are grouped by transfer institiution and by period of attendance. The lowest acceptable grade EMU will accept for transfer courses is a C; therefore EMU does not accept a transfer course if it has a W (Withdrawal) grade. Transfer credits with a grade below a C and W grades display in the Title column as Grade Below Acceptable Level and in the Grade column as TNC (transfer no credit). Grades above a C will display in the Title column with the course title it evaluated to at EMU and in the Grade column as TCR (transfer credit). The transfer GPA is not calculated or included in the overall GPA.

  7. Use the Vertical scroll bar to navigate to the Institution Credit section.

    Note: Institution credits are grouped by level (undergraduate/graduate) and by term. Within each term, the Repeat column indicates whether the grade is excluded or included in the GPA. The student can repeat the class up to three times. The grade that is included in the GPA is always the last one earned, regardless of the grade.

  8. When you are finished, click the Faculty Services tab to return to the Faculty Services menu.
