Accepting, Declining, or Adjusting Your Financial Aid Award

Students can use the Award link to accept, decline, or adjust their financial aid award.

Follow these directions to make a financial aid award decision:

  1. Navigate to the Financial Aid menu. See Financial Aid Menu Overview for more information.
  2. Click the Award link.

  3. The Award page is displayed. Click the Award for Aid Year link.

  4. The Aid Year page is displayed. Click the Select Aid Year pull-down arrow and choose the aid year you want to work with from the list.
  5. Click the Submit button.

  6. The Award Package for [Award Year] page is displayed. Click the Accept Award Offer tab.

  7. The Award Package for [Aid Year] page is populated with a list of your financial aid award offers. Click the Accept Award pull-down arrow and choose your award decision (Accept or Decline) for each award offer.

    Note: Alternately, you can accept the full award amount by clicking the Accept Full Amount of All Awards button or accept a partial amount by type an amount in a fund's Accept Partial Amount field.
  8. Click the Submit Decision button.

  9. The Award Package for [Award year] displays the total amount of the accepted award(s).

  10. When you are finished, click the Financial Aid tab to return to the Financial Aid menu.
