Forward Calls

You can setup a call to forward with Call Manager (CM) as well as set up a call to forward while at your VoIP phone. The advantage of having the capability to setup a call with CM is you won't have to physically return to your phone to remove the forward information and direct calls back to your phone. In addition,you can setup internal or external calls to forward to voicemail, or a number you specify.

Setup Calls to Forward with CM

To forward your calls with CM to another phone follow the instructions below:

  1. Log in to CM (login instructions can be accessed from Log in to CM located in the navigation menu on the left).
    NOTE: If you have more than one phone you will need to specify which phone you want to forward incoming calls (instructions can also be accessed from Log in to CM located in the navigation menu on the left).
  2. Select Device from the User Options menu.

  3. Click the Line Settings icon from the row of links at the top of the screen.

  4. If you have more than one line on your phone select the appropriate line from the drop down menu.
  5. Check the Forward all call to box.
  6. Click the Voice Mail or This Number option (If you select This Number you must enter a 5 digit number (7####), or a local 7 digit number preceded by number "6" (no spaces, commas, periods or dashes).

  7. Additional call forwarding options allow you to configure internal and external calls with either voice mail or a specified number. These options include:
    • when the line is busy
    • when there is no answer
    • when the phone is unregistered
  8. When you have finished selecting forwarding options, click the Save button.

IMPORTANT: Remember to undo the forward either at your phone or with CM.

Setup Calls to Forward While at Your VoIP Phone

With fewer options than provided in CM, you can forward a call while at your VoIP phone:

  1. Press the CFwdALL softkey.
  2. Enter a 5 digit number (7####), or a local 7 digit number preceded by number "6" (no spaces, commas, periods or dashes).
  3. To undo call forwarding press the CFwdALL softkey.
IMPORTANT: Remember to undo the forward either at your phone or with CM.
