EMU's programs for first-year students
are better than ever!

The overarching goal of our first-year programs is to offer academic support and assistance to students through
block scheduling, small class sizes, living arrangements, outside-of-class activities, tutoring and advising.  The programs have been designed to benefit students during the transition from high school to college.  All of these programs work very closely with each other and with the Academic Advising Center, Career Services, the Holman Learning Center, and Campus Life to provide first-year students with all the resources they need to be successful at EMU.
