BRASS ROOTS TRIO CONCERT AT PEASE AUDITORIUM: The EMU Department of Music and Dance welcomes Brass Roots Trio on Wednesday, Feb. 13, at 7 p.m. in Pease Auditorium. Three world-class musicians redefine the chamber music genre with the fusion of classical, jazz, Americana and Latin styles. The trio displays an amazing mix of individual and ensemble musicianship.

Now in its 10th season of concerts, the Brass Roots Trio has performed in every corner of the US, UK and in Canada with performances at Oxford University, St. James Piccadilly in London, the Chicago Brass Festival, and on Community Concert Series, Chamber Music Series and NPR. VALENTINE'S DAY BENEFIT CONCERT FEATURING "MEASURE FOR MEASURE:" Join the EMU Foundation for Valentine's Day and enjoy the men's choir "Measure for Measure," Thursday, Feb. 14, at 7:30 p.m., in the Student Center Ballroom. Tickets are $25 per reservation. The concert benefits the scholarship fund in memory of Measure for Measure's founding director and longtime EMU choir director, Dr. Leonard L. Riccinto.

In a break from their normal full-ensemble performances, not only will the entire group perform, but they will also highlight their individual talents with small group and soloist performances. URINETOWN: THE MUSICAL COMES TO QUIRK THEATRE: EMU Theatre is ready to warm up your winter with the award-winning musical comedy, "Urinetown: The Musical." Directed by Pirooz Aghssa, with musical direction by Howard Cass, Urinetown: The Musical will run Feb. 15-17 and Feb. 21-24, in Quirk Theatre. Ticket prices are $15 regular admission, $12 for students and seniors, $9 for MAINSTAGE patrons, and $7 for children ages 10-12 (not recommended for younger audiences), no further discounts apply. TIESTO: CLUB LIFE COLLEGE INVASION TOUR BRINGS DJ TO CONVOCATION CENTER: Tiesto: Club Life College Invasion Tour brings the world's biggest DJ for a return engagement to the EMU Convocation Center, Wednesday, Feb. 27. Tickets can be purchased online at emutix.com or call 487-2282. Tickets are $40 for the Main Floor and $30 for the Lower Bowl. Students can purchase the lower bowl tickets at a student rate of $20 in person at any EMU ticket office.
