CONNECT: COLLABORATE, COMMUNICATE & CREATE: Join the Faculty Development Center (FDC) on Thursday, Feb. 14, from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., in Halle Library for a series of technology workshops, food, fun, and giveaways. Our 2nd annual FDC Open House event will be packed full of demonstrations (iPads, Panopto, iClickers, and more), a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Collaboratory Room, the sharing of teaching and learning strategies, and yummy food. You can drop in for one session or stay for the day. End your day from 3 - 4 p.m. with (H)Appy Hour by sharing your favorite aps and snacking on light refreshments. FACULTY AND STAFF ACADEMIC ADVISOR DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM: The University Advising & Career Development Center is offering a Faculty & Staff Academic Advisor Development Program again this winter semester. The program is designed for faculty and staff that provide undergraduate advising to EMU students. You can sign up for all of the sessions, or sign up for certain modules. The class is scheduled from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., in Room 310, Porter as follows:
Module 4 - Academic College Sessions - Friday, Feb. 15
Module 5 - Transfer Student Advising - Friday, Feb. 22
