"GRADUATE AT THE PODIUM" EVENT: All EMU graduate students, faculty, administration and staff are invited to the inaugural "Graduate at the Podium," event for graduating graduate students on Friday, Apr. 4, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., in the Student Center. The events are as follows:

  • Welcome and Breakfast: 8:30 - 9:15 a.m. in room 300
  • Session #1: 9:30 - 10:45 a.m. in various rooms on the 3rd Floor
  • Session #2: 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. in various rooms on the 3rd Floor
  • Words and Reflection: 12:15 - 12:30 p.m. in room 300

"Graduate at the Podium" is an interdisciplinary event focusing on oral presentations of graduate student scholarly work. EASTERN MICHIGAN WRITING PROJECT: Eastern Michigan Writing Project (EMWP) is pleased to announce Inkstains, a summer writing camp for middle and high school students on the campus of EMU. The middle school writer's camp is scheduled for Monday, July 7 to Friday, July 11. The high school writer's camp is scheduled for Monday, July 14 to Friday, July 18. The camp runs Monday - Thursday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. The cost of the camp is $225.
