Eastern Michigan's Tucson, Phoenix alumni to attend area eventsYPSILANTI — The Eastern Michigan University Office for Alumni Relations and the EMU central Arizona alumni chapter will host an alumni and friends luncheon in Tucson, AZ and an alumni and friends social in Phoenix, AZ. The Tucson luncheon will be Wednesday, Feb. 18, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Westin La Paloma Resort and Spa, 3800 E. Sunrise Drive. The cost for the event is $15; reservations are required. Friends and guests are welcome to attend. The reception in Phoenix will be Thursday, Feb. 19, 6 - 8 p.m., at the home of Timothy Dyer, EMU regent emeritus. The cost is $15; reservations are required. “This event is a great way for alumni to network and reconnect with old friends, as well as meet the newest member of the EMU family, President Susan Martin. President Martin’s strive for excellence, and her vision have impacted the lives of students as well as alumni and friends of the university,” said Vicki Reaume, executive director of alumni relations.
