EMU's Explore Eastern program scheduled March 28YPSILANTI —Prospective high school and transfer students will have a chance to explore Eastern Michigan University, Saturday, March 28, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the EMU Student Center, 900 Oakwood Street, in Ypsilanti. The event is free. The Explore Eastern program provides students with an opportunity to meet with representatives from various academic programs, housing, dining, career services, financial aid, scholarships and other areas. Campus tours of a classroom building, the Halle Library, the Olds-Robb Recreation and Intramural Building, and a residence hall room run every 15 minutes. All students attending Explore Eastern will be able to apply for admission, free of charge – a $20 savings. One high school senior who enrolls at EMU will receive 12 free credit hours of in-state equivalent tuition. One transfer student who enrolls will receive six free credit hours of in-state equivalent tuition.
