Operation JDD Jazz Dinner Dance scheduled April 4 at EMU

YPSILANTI —Step out on the town and enjoy an evening of jazz at Eastern Michigan University’s Operation JDD Jazz Dinner Dance 2009, Saturday, April 4, 6:30-10:30 p.m., Student Center Ballroom, 900 Oakwood Street, on EMU’s main campus in Ypsilanti.
           
This year’s event will feature a cocktail reception and silent auction at 6:30 p.m. followed by dinner and dancing at 7:15 p.m. Guests will enjoy music by The Couriers and the EMU Jazz Ensemble. Dress is semi-formal.

The event benefits the jazz program at EMU's Department of Music and Dance, and the Al Townsend Endowed Scholarship in the College of Arts and Sciences. Tickets cost $60 per person.
