Eastern Michigan University alumni relations to host Washington D.C. social

YPSILANTI — The Eastern Michigan University Office for Alumni Relations will host an alumni and friends social at the Rayburn House Office Building in Washington, D.C., Thursday, Sept. 24, 6 – 8 p.m. Friends and guests are welcome to attend. The evening will feature an hors d’oeuvres reception. Tickets are $20 per person.

This event is a great way for alumni to network and reconnect with old friends,” said Vicki Reaume, executive director of alumni relations. “There are more than 1,200 alumni in the greater D.C. area, and we enjoy seeing them and hearing their stories.”

Guests will have the opportunity to learn about the latest updates from EMU’s campus.  In addition, representatives from the EMU National Capital Alumni Chapter will be on hand to talk about ongoing alumni activities in the area.

Reservations and additional information are available by contacting the Office for Alumni Relations at 734.487.0250 or alumni.relations@emich.edu. For more information about the National Capital Alumni Chapter, contact leaders: Len Capelli at lencapelli@aol.com; or Mike Ferrens at mtferens@aol.com.
