EMU REGENTS APPROVE CONTRACT WITH FACULTY UNION

YPSILANTI &endash; A collective bargaining agreement between Eastern Michigan University and the EMU chapter of the American Association of University Professors (AAUP) was approved by the EMU Board of Regents at a special meeting today (Oct. 20).

The new agreement between EMU and the AAUP's 687 members extends from Sept. 1, 2000 to Aug. 31, 2004.
