EMU Career Services to host job readiness fair for displaced workers

YPSILANTI —Eastern Michigan University will offer a free job readiness fair called ‘Return to Earn’ Wednesday, April 29, 5-9 p.m. at the EMU Student Center on the main campus.
The event will offer short workshops and moderated employer panels to help displaced workers make sure their resumes, job search strategies and interviewing skills meet the expectations of employers. There also will be a session on how to make the most of attending a job fair. Attendees will have the option of having their resumes reviewed.
Participants are encouraged to save a seat for ‘Return to Earn’ by calling career services at 487.0400. Participants are advised not to bring children to the event.
