Lieutenant Dan Choi served for a decade under Don't Ask, Don't Tell, a government policy that requires gay American service members to lie about their sexual orientation. These values are antithetical to the Honor Code Lt. Choi learned at West Point.
An Arabic intepreter, Iraq War veteran, and serviceman in good standing, Lt. Choi received a discharge letter from the Army following his disclosure of his sexual orientation in 2009. He is still fighting the discharge. Join us as he tells his story.
