YPSILANTI - A new online tutoring program has been launched by the Holman Success Center at Eastern Michigan University. The program offers students a flexible way to get tutoring from Holman tutors if they are unable to commit to a weekly tutoring schedule.
"The needs of the students are so varied on our campus so it is another viable option for students who are working all the time," said Judy Mack, Holman's coordinator for the supplemental instruction and tutoring programs. "It offers tutoring for students who can't get to campus or who work late and can't get regular face-to-face tutoring."
Online tutoring is a free service to students and offers the following:
Online tutoring is available 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. Monday through Thursday and 4 p.m. to midnight on Sundays. To register for online tutoring, students need to visit http://www.emuhsc.askonline.net and sign up with their my.emich username and password.
For more information, please contact Judy Mack at 734.487.2133 or by email jmack@emich.edu. The Holman Success Center provides instruction and services that will support students in the development of skills necessary for their effective performance and positive adjustment to the learning environment.
