YPSILANTI – Eastern Michigan University Student Body President Jelani McGadney will deliver the "State of the Student Body" address at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 14 in the Student Center Ballroom.
The address is an opportunity for the president to share the progress Student Government made during the first half of the academic year, as well as look to the future.
McGadney says that the student body is entitled to a fully responsive government and university, and that the only way to achieve that is through effective representation and communication.
Eastern Michigan University Student Government works to represent the needs of all students and enhance the quality of life on campus through dynamic leadership, an ongoing commitment to diversity and fostering Eagle pride.
Student leaders say they seek to secure a powerful and focused voice for all students and contribute to the unique campus community at EMU.
