YPSILANTI - The online tutoring program has been launched by the Holman Success Center at Eastern Michigan University. The program, in its second full semester at Eastern, offers students a flexible way to get assistance from Holman tutors if they are unable to commit to a weekly schedule.
"The needs of the students are so varied on our campus. This is just another viable option for students who are working all the time," said Judy Mack, Holman's coordinator for the supplemental instruction and tutoring programs. "It offers tutoring for students who can't get to campus or who work late and can't get regular face-to-face tutoring."
Online tutoring is a free service for current Eastern students and offers:
Online tutoring is available 5 to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. To register for online tutoring, please visit http://www.emuhsc.askonline.net and sign up using the my.emich username.
For more information, contact Judy Mack at 734.487.2133 or by email at jmack@emich.edu.
The Holman Success Center provides instruction and services that will support students in the development of skills necessary for their effective performance and positive adjustment to the learning environment.
