Graduate Advisors from the EMU College of Business -- a Princeton Review "Best Business School" every year since 2003 -- will be at Eastern Michigan University's Graduate Open House on Saturday, January 12, 2013, from 10 a.m. to noon in the Student Center Ballroom.
The EMU College of Business offers the following graduate degree programs:
The EMU College of Business is among a select group of business schools worldwide that are accredited by AACSB International (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business). AACSB accreditation is considered the hallmark of excellence for business programs and ensures that a rigorous set of standards have been met in delivering graduate business education.
Advantages of graduate study at Eastern Michigan University's College of Business include:
Tenured faculty with real-world experience and professional credentials connect theory and practice, bringing current techniques into the classroom through hands-on learning opportunities.
Global business curriculum addresses corporate needs for skills in ethical decision-making, communication, critical thinking, interdisciplinary knowledge, and strategic leadership.
Convenient locations and flexible course formats are available, including evenings at the Owen Building in downtown Ypsilanti; evening and weekend classes at our Livonia site; as well as a great number of courses offered online, or in hybrid format. Some programs may be completed online or exclusively at the Livonia campus.
The classroom experience is enriched by capping core graduate courses at 25 students. Students enjoy learning from faculty who have worked in industry, publish, and do research in their fields. Small class sizes also allow for in-depth analysis of case studies, and team projects allow students to share experiences with classmates from diverse backgrounds.
An in-house career services office caters to COB student needs regarding career preparation and job searches. The annual Career Day features presentations from alumni and business leaders from a variety of business disciplines, followed by an opportunity to meet with corporate recruiters about available positions.
Register online today to reserve your spot at the Jan. 12, 2013 Open House.
