YPSILANTI - Choosing a college can be one of the most important decisions in a student's life. Why not take that first step by attending Eastern Michigan University's Explore Eastern Open House, Saturday, March 23?
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Eastern's Student Center, 900 Oakwood Dr. in Ypsilanti. All interested students are welcome to bring family members and friends. Students attending Explore Eastern can apply for admission free of charge - $35 savings.
The Open House is a great way for high school and transfer students to learn about EMU and how an Eastern education can create a path to the future. During the event, you'll get a true feeling about EMU and what sets us apart from other schools - our small-campus feel with large-school resources.
Campus tours, led by a current EMU student, will be offered at 9 a.m., 11:25 a.m. and 12:55 p.m., which start at the Student Center. While on the tour, the guide will be available for questions. You'll see a classroom building; the Bruce T. Halle Library; the Olds-Robb Recreation and Intramural Building; and a residence hall room.
While at the EMU Student Center, a variety of information will be available, including:
