YPSILANTI - The Early College Alliance (ECA), an educational program that immerses high school students into the post-secondary learning environment, will host a series of informational sessions for prospective students and their parents.

The ECA, located on the campus of Eastern Michigan University, is open to students from Chelsea, Manchester, Ann Arbor, Milan, Lincoln, Ypsilanti and Whitmore Lake. The program is also available through Schools of Choice to any student in Washtenaw County or who resides in a county contiguous to Washtenaw County.

ECA is geared towards students who will be in grades 10 or 11, and are advanced, struggling or unsure if post-secondary education is the right option for them. The ECA allows students to accelerate through the program based on skills achieved, not credit accumulation, and it is designed to meet the student’s learning needs.
