YPSILANTI  – You are invited to board a free bus ride to Cleveland tonight to see Eastern Michigan University play in its first Men's Basketball MAC Semifinal since 1997-98!!

The University is offering bus transportation to and from tonight’s 9 p.m. semifinal game against Toledo for the FIRST 50 FANS (students, fans, faculty, staff, community members) who want a FREE ride on the bus to the game at beautiful Quicken Loans Arena in downtown Cleveland. The bus will depart from the EMU Convocation Center at 5 p.m. (please arrive 15 minutes early), and return you there after the game.

To ride, EVERYONE will have to purchase tickets through the EMU Ticket Office at the Convocation or upon arrival in Cleveland. Student tickets cost $10. All others cost $34. The game ticket purchase is the only cost to ride on the bus.

If you are interested, simply RSVP and reserve your ticket by calling the EMU Ticket Office at (734) 487-2282. It’s very important to RSVP, so we can keep track of everyone who wants to make this exciting trip.

Thursday night, the Eagles defeated Buffalo 69-64. The thrilling, comeback victory gives Eastern a 21-13 record, the most victories in program history since 1996-97, when EMU won 22 games.

Come on and join us on as we root on the Eagles in this terrific tourney run!
