SAUDI ARABIAN EDUCATION ADMINISRATORS ATTEND
EASTERN MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY LEADERSHIP SEMINAR
WHAT: Members of Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Education gain new management and leadership skills during a two-week seminar presented by Eastern Michigan University's department of leadership and counseling in the College of Education. The Saudi Arabian Leadership Seminar 2000 involves classroom learning as well as field study. The group will visit Novi Middle School -- one of only two schools in the nation built to support a state-of-the-art team teaching program -- and the Wayne Regional Educational Service Agency in Wayne (RESA) where they'll learn how the RESA supports local school districts. While attending the seminar, the Saudis are staying in the Eastern Michigan residence halls, at the Ypsilanti Marriott at Eagle Crest, and in private homes. Participants will receive certificates, July 28, for completing the seminar.
