Eastern Michigan University to host Phoenix, Tucson alumni events
YPSILANTI - The Central Arizona Alumni Chapter of Eastern Michigan University and the EMU Office for Alumni Relations will host two upcoming receptions for alumni and friends in the Tucson and Phoenix areas. The socials will welcome EMU’s new president John A. Fallon III and his wife, Dr. Sidney Fallon.
The Phoenix reception is scheduled Thursday, Jan. 19, 6-8 p.m., at the Ritz Carlton. Friends and guests are welcome to attend. President Fallon will be the guest speaker. Tickets are $10 per person.
The Tucson social is scheduled Friday, Jan. 20, 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., at the Westward Look Resort. The event is open to all alumni, friends and guests. The afternoon will feature lunch and remarks by Fallon. Tickets are $15 per person.
“These events are a great way for EMU alumni to network and reconnect with friends,” said Vicki Reaume, executive director of alumni relations. “There are more than 1,300 alumni in Arizona and we would love to bring all of them together.”
