Incarnati re-elected chair of EMU Board of Regents

YPSILANTIPhilip Incarnati, president and chief executive officer of McLaren Health Care Corp. of Flint, was re-elected for a tenth term as chairman of the Eastern Michigan University Board of Regents at its regular meeting Jan. 18.

Incarnati, a resident of Fenton, has been an EMU regent since 1992 and chair of the Board of Regents since 1995. He earned a business administration degree in 1976 and a master's degree in 1982, both from EMU.

Karen Valvo, of Ypsilanti, was re-elected vice chair. She was appointed to the Board in 2001. Valvo, who earned her bachelor's degree from EMU, is a partner in the law firm of Reach, Ranney & Carpenter, P.C. in Ann Arbor.

EMU Vice President of Business and Finance John Beaghan, of Farmington, was re-elected treasurer and Dana Aymond of Jackson was re-elected secretary to the Board

Elections of officers for the Board of Regents are held annually.
