EMU's Explore Eastern program scheduled April 5
YPSILANTI — Eastern Michigan University’s Explore Eastern program is a great way for high school students and transfer students to learn about EMU and how an EMU education can launch their future careers.
The next Explore Eastern program is scheduled Saturday, April 5, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the EMU Student Center, 900 Oakwood Street, EMU’s main campus in Ypsilanti. The event is free.
The program provides students with an opportunity to meet with representatives from various academic programs, housing, dining, career services, financial aid, scholarships and other areas. Campus tours of a classroom building, the Halle Library, the Olds-Robb Recreation and Intramural Building, and a residence hall room run every 15 minutes.
All students attending Explore Eastern will be able to apply for admission, free of charge – a $20 savings. One high school senior who enrolls at EMU will receive 12 free credit hours of in-state equivalent tuition. One transfer student who enrolls will receive six free credit hours of in-state equivalent tuition.To register for Explore Eastern or for more information, go to http://www.emich.edu/explore/.
