It's the first down, 50-yard drive for the Red Cross blood drive
YPSILANTI —Make a dash to help save lives at the 50-yard blood drive, at Eastern Michigan University, Oct. 6-8, noon–6 p.m., at the Student Center, Ballroom B.
The event is sponsored by the American Red Cross of Southeastern Michigan.
WXYT The Ticket’s Doug Karsch will broadcast live from the drive, Oct. 6, 2:30 p.m., and his colleague, Jay Towers, will broadcast from noon–2 p.m. Oct. 8. Swoop, EMU’s mascot, will also make a surprise visit during the three-day drive.
There is always a need for blood. Donating takes less than an hour and one single unit of blood can help save up to three lives.
Everyone who stops by and tries to donate will receive a free Red Cross T-shirt.
