Pirate-themed EMU Family Day provides educational treasures, fun Oct. 7
YPSILANTI — An African dance troupe, bagpipers, super heroes and library robots may not have much in common with pirates, but they will Oct. 7 as Eastern Michigan University provides a pirate theme to its annual Family Day, noon-4 p.m., on EMU’s main campus in Ypsilanti. Children, teens and adults can pick up a treasure map on Family Day and experience a variety of free activities: Especially for children:
