EMU to host alumni event in Monroe

YPSILANTI - Eastern Michigan University’s Office for Alumni Relations and William P. Morris, chairman of the Foundation Board of Trustees and Monroe resident, will host an alumni and friends social at the Monroe Golf and Country Club in Monroe Dec. 1 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. The event is to welcome EMU President John Fallon and Sidney Fallon.

            President Fallon will be the guest speaker.

The event is free and open to all alumni, friends and guests. To make reservations, contact the Office for Alumni Relations, 734.487.0250 or e-mail: alumni.relations@emich.edu.

            “The event is a great way for alumni to network and reconnect with friends and celebrate the season with EMU spirit,” said Vicki Reaume, executive director of alumni relations. “It is also a great way to ring in the holidays with President and Sidney Fallon.”

            There are currently more than 3,000 alumni in Monroe County.
