Michigan Collegiate Job Fair set for Nov. 17
YPSILANTI — Graduating college seniors can meet one-on-one with prospective employers at the 37th Bi-Annual Michigan Collegiate Job Fair Friday, Nov. 17, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., at Burton Manor, 27777 Schoolcraft Rd. in Livonia.
More than 100 employers are expected to participate in the fair, which is sponsored by Eastern Michigan University with the Michigan Association of Collegiate Career and Employment Services (Mi-ACCES). Participating employers include: AFLAC, CBS Radio, Comerica Bank, Detroit Tigers, Inc., UPS and Old Navy.
One of the state’s largest and longest-running job search events, MCJF celebrates 18 years of jump-starting careers for area students. It offers an opportunity for students to meet with potential employers looking to fill various positions. Graduates also can practice and obtain immediate feedback on interviewing skills.
To take advantage of this opportunity, send a resume and check for $10 to MCJF at Career Services, 311 King Hall, Eastern Michigan University, Ypsilanti, MI 48197. Fair brochures are available at college and university placement offices and at www.mcjf.org.
Registration at the door is $20. Doors open at 8:30 a.m.
