EMU welcomes Apple Authorized Campus Store

YPSILANTI — Eastern Michigan University will become home to one of the region’s exclusive Apple Authorized Campus Stores. The grand opening is Monday, Nov. 17, at the Student Center.

In a partnership between Follett Higher Education Group, managing body of the EMU Bookstore, and Apple Campus Stores, the EMU Bookstore will now carry the full Apple inventory.

“The students at EMU will have the opportunity to encounter the Apple experience in a way that only a few campuses across the nation can boast,” said Carlos Costa, EMU Student Center director.

The store, located inside the EMU Bookstore on the first floor of the EMU Student Center, will feature aspects of a regular retail store, including Apple product and sales professionals, and product demonstrations.

EMU students, faculty and staff also will enjoy benefits that can’t be found at traditional Apple retail locations, including exclusive education pricing on software and hardware, and specialized one-on-one training.

In celebration of its grand opening, the store will have a drawing for a free 8GB Chromatic iPod Nano (color of choice) and an iTunes gift card.

For more information on the store, please call the EMU Bookstore at 734-483-2850.
