YPSILANTI - Clarkston resident Tom Neal was one of eight students honored by the College of Technology at Eastern Michigan University for outstanding academic achievement. Neal received the Michigan Marketing Educators Student Teacher of the Year Award during a special banquet at the Ypsilanti Marriot at Eagle Crest.
A graduate of Rochester Adams High School, Rochester, Mich., Neal returned there to do his student teaching with marketing students. His academic program at Eastern promotes entrepreneurial values and behavior, as well as the understanding of our free enterprise system in the global economy.
Recipients of these awards are recognized by the College of Technology for being at the top of their class. They have excelled in mastering the skills necessary to succeed in their fields.
