EXPLORE THE WORLD OF MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS

DURING EASTERN MICHIGAN'S FAMILY DAY, OCT. 6

YPSILANTI - Ever have the urge to try your hand at playing a tuba or coaxing music from a violin? Then check out the musical instruments during Eastern Michigan University's Family Day celebration, Saturday, Oct. 6, noon-4 p.m.

If you think you have hidden talent or just want to learn more about music, the staff from EMU's music department will be on hand to guide you as you experiment with a variety of instruments.

Family Day will also offer more than 50 other free educational activities for children and adults, including a Harry Potter and Hermione look-alike contest; wax hand molds; a live theatre production; The Great Bobini magic show; and health and safety activities.
