YPSILANTI - Learn the secrets of slime, make ice cream in seconds and help solve a mystery. These are just a few fun elements of Eastern Michigan University's, "Saturday Morning at the Lab," Nov. 6, 10 a.m.-noon, in the lobby of EMU's Mark Jefferson Science Building.
The event is free and no registration is required. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
The EMU departments of chemistry and biology, along with the chemistry club, will conduct interactive demonstrations for children ages six and up. Children also will get the chance to learn how to do chemical magic; try the "Do or Dye Experiment;" and experience the cold of liquid nitrogen. This program is in conjunction with National Chemistry Week.
Free parking is available at the Oakwood Lot at the corner of Washtenaw and Oakwood.
