Several EMU Anniversaries Make
Homecoming Week Even More Special
YPSILANTI The one-hundred year anniversary of Sherzer Hall, a
40th birthday for theatre arts and alumni celebrating their 50th reunion are
just three special events planned for EMUs 2003 Homecoming Week, Sept.
29-Oct. 4. The week-long celebration culminates in the EMU vs. Western Michigan
University football game at Rynearson Stadium, Saturday, Oct. 4, 2 p.m.
Homecoming is more than just a football game. Its a wonderful week
filled with exciting activities, said Vicki Reaume, director of alumni
relations.

100th Anniversary of Sherzer Hall
ð Open house sponsored by the College of Arts and Sciences, Saturday, Oct. 3,
10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Solar observing, building tours, roof deck reception. Special

Happy Birthday Communication and Theatre Arts
ð Celebrations include a 40th birthday brunch, Wall of Fame dedication honoring
CTA emeritus faculty, and Brown Bag Burlesque, in honor of the late
EMU professor Parker Zellers, Saturday, Oct. 4, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., Quirk-Sponberg

50th AnniversaryHonoring the Class of 1953
ð Golden Years Reunion, Friday, Oct. 3, with a luncheon, campus tours and a
