How to apply

Applications are accepted two times a year. In April, we recruit students in the eighth grade from East, West and Edmonson Middle Schools for participation the following school year as high school freshmen. Upward Bound representatives visit each middle school in spring to provide information about the program. Applications are available in the counseling office.

We also recruit students in the ninth and tenth grades from Ypsilanti and Willow Run High Schools. Upward Bound representatives visit each high school in September to provide information about the program. Applications are available in the counseling office and must be completed and returned to the Upward Bound office or to the high school counseling office by the first Monday in October.
