Deployment
Eastern Michigan University commends you for serving our country. With regard to your military activation and departure from study, the university is committed to being both proactive and highly responsive to your individual needs. We understand that being mobilized, placing your life on hold for an indefinite amount of time, and possibly relocating your family can be very stressful. Our goal is to provide you with a streamlined withdrawal process that affords all rights consistent with Federal and State regulations during mobilization.
Upon notification that you will be deployed you will need to provide our office with a copy of your official orders and power of attorney.
Attached is the Eastern Michigan University Deployment Packet with documents that have been created to assure your smooth transition. The packet contains the following documents:

Eastern Michigan University also offers Veterans who become deployed, after their admission to the university, priority registration in an effort to help you transition back into the educational setting and meet your graduation goals. Contact the Veteran Services Office to find out more information.
