your hands dirty while making the planet a healthier

Pick
up a hammer and pitch in to help build affordable housing
in the Ypsilanti area. Volunteers of all experience
levels are invited to help raise funds and walls to
build EMU's first Habitat house. We are building this year!
Make
a difference in a child's life by tutoring, mentoring
and spending time with local children. America
Reads, Jumpstart,
Big
Brothers Big Sisters, Girls on the Run, and
other programs.
This
is a perfect opportunity for those with busy schedules
who still want to get involved. Participate in one-day
service events. Such as Community Plunge and National
Make a Difference Day.
Students
Against Hunger and Homelessness. Join the fight against
hunger and homelessness in the local community by working
in soup kitchens and shelters. Participate in the annual
Sleep-Out-by-the-Kiosk and the Oxfam Hunger Banquet.
Volunteers
Involved in Civic Engagement. Address important issues
affecting our community. Advocate for change. Bring
Awareness of social justice issues to campus.
