Starkweather Hall

Date of Construction: 1852
Known Uses: Housed the Student Christian Association (until the 1920s), several religious offices used the building until 1976, in 1976 it became the home of the Campus Interact program and other public relations services. It housed the Graduate School until 2007. Currently, it houses the Honors College.

Starkweather is the oldest building on campus; it is three days older than the adjacent Welch Hall. Original doorknobs remain in certain parts of the building, bearing the initials of the Student Christian Association (SCA).


Starkweather Hall - present
