- Teacher Education Scholarships: Each year, the College of Education awards over one hundred scholarships to COE students. Please review the scholarships available in your program's department, as well as the Dean's General Education Scholarships to identify the scholarship opportunities for which you would like to apply. Many students find that they are eligible for both their departmental scholarships as well as Dean's General Education Scholarships. CLICK HERE.

General Scholarships for Women
- Talbots Scholarship Program: Up to seventeen scholarships of $10,000 and one $30,000 scholarship will be awarded. Only applicants seeking a bachelor's degree are eligible to receive the Nancy Talbot Scholarship Award. CLICK HERE.
- American Legion Auxillary Department of Michigan: The Department of Michigan offers three scholarships to Michigan residents meeting the eligibility requirements. Each scholarship is for $500. The Medical Career Scholarship is available to students seeking a medical related career. The Memorial Scholarship is for all other types of studies. The Non-Traditional Scholarship is for students over the age of 22. The number of scholarships awarded each year is based on available funds. CLICK HERE.
- Daughters of the American Revolution: The NSDAR awards multiple scholarships to students showing dedication to the pursuit of degrees in diverse disciplines including history, law, nursing, and education. Multiple scholarships are available. CLICK HERE.

Scholarships for Survivors of Domestic Violence
- Women's Independence Scholarship Program (WISP): The objective of WISP is to help survivors of intimate partner abuse obtain an education that will in turn offer them the chance to secure employment, personal independence and self sufficiency. CLICK HERE.
Multicultural Scholarships
- Association on American Indian Affairs: Over the years our scholarship program has grown to the current eight scholarships for graduate and undergraduate students from federally recognized and non-recognized tribes. CLICK HERE.
- The Dingwall Foundation (Korean Ancestry Grants): For students of Korean ancestry (and a limited number of exceptional students of other Asian ancestry) pursuing undergraduate degrees at accredited universities in the United States. CLICK HERE.
Scholarships For Women Over 25
- Linda Lael Miller Scholarship (25+): Linda’s scholarships are awarded annually to women who are 25 years or older, non-traditional students who have a difficult time finding scholarships for which they qualify. As in previous years, the scholarship funds may be used not only for tuition and books, but also for childcare, transportation and other expenses not covered by traditional scholarships. CLICK HERE.
- Jeannette Rankin Women's Scholarship Fund (35+): JRF provides opportunities for women nationwide to secure careers and break the cycle of poverty. Each scholarship recipient has a vision of how education will benefit herself, her family and her community. While the women come from diverse backgrounds, they are all united and motivated by their goal to succeed through education. CLICK HERE.
- AARP Scholarship (50+): The AARP Foundation Women's Scholarship Program is helping win back opportunity for low-income, 50-plus women by funding education, training, and skills upgrades that can lead to better employment and increased financial security for women and their families. CLICK HERE.
Scholarships for Mothers
- Patsy Takemoto Mink Education Foundation: The Foundation will offer five Education Support Awards of up to $2000 each to assist low-income women with children who are pursuing education or training. Education Support Awards may be used for direct school expenses or for living expenses while you are enrolled in an educational program. CLICK HERE.
- Soroptimist (Women's Opportunity Awards): Through the program, clubs in 19 countries and territories assist women who provide the primary source of financial support for their families by giving them the resources they need to improve their education, skills, and employment prospects. CLICK HERE.
Specialized Scholarships for Women
- Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded annually to women pursuing undergraduate or master's degrees in business management. CLICK HERE.
- The Educational Foundation for Women in Accounting: They awards scholarships to women who are pursuing Accounting degrees at the undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate levels. CLICK HERE.
- Society of Women Engineers: SWE Scholarships support women pursuing ABET-accredited baccalaureate or graduate programs in preparation for careers in engineering, engineering technology and computer science in the United States and Mexico. CLICK HERE.
