Writing about women's lives with regard to issues of concern in our current culture is a major interest of mine.
My new play manuscript, entitled THE RED DRESS DIARIES, a collection of monologues for women, will have its first reading in August/September 2012. THE RED DRESS DIARIES reveals pivotal moments in the lives of women as they deal with issues such as: racism, homophobia, women and disabilities, eating disorders, reproductive rights, and the many facets of violence including bullying, childhood sexual abuse, stalking, acquaintance rape, and domestic violence. I look forward to proposing THE RED DRESS DIARIES as a possible selection for Women's History Month, 2013.
Sacrificial Offerings, a play of monologues based on my research of women in history and their roles in various religions.
Sacrificial Offerings features a cast of seven—six women and one man—and was selected for presentation and performance in Quirk Theater for Women's History Month in 2001.
