International
Cooperative Education Exchange (ICEE)
The
International Cooperative Education Exchange Program was created
to provide practical foreign training assignments for students specializing
in international business, language, area studies, and other fields
at Eastern Michigan University and at our partner business schools
in France, Germany and Spain. The World College works collaboratively
with other University offices and departments to facilitate these
internships. In order to qualify for these internships and cooperative
education positions, applicants must meet rigorous criteria for
participation, including advanced professional proficiency in the
respective foreign language. A review of Final Employer Evaluation
Reports reveals a high level of satisfaction by the employers with
the work of student interns. The students also report favorably
on their experiences, which often lead to career positions. ICEE
