Program Information
Who can participate?
- International students who are interested in a summer experience learning English and American culture on a university campus.
- International students who want to study ESL only in preparation for applying to a university degree program.
- International students who are already ESL conditionally admitted to EMU and want to begin ESL courses.
Dates: June 26 - August 16, 2011
Courses:
- Students will be enrolled in regular, credit-bearing, academic ESL courses.
- Students will select three courses from the following list (for a total of nine credit hours)

Application:
- International students who want to study ESL only in preparation for applying to a university degree program will fill out an “Intensive English Program” application through the ESL Program.
- International students who want to be ESL conditionally admitted to EMU and want to begin ESL courses should fill out a regular application to the degree program through the office of International Admissions.
