STUDENT RESEARCH
A. Undergraduate Symposium Student Presentations
The German section has been very visible in the UG symposium since 2002. Since then German Section Faculty members have actively recruited and sponsored numerous Undergraduate Symposium presentations. Indeed we have had the largest number of student participants than the other FLABS language sections put together (including ESL). Several German students have received prestigious UG Symposium scholarship awards: Lindsay Buckman (2003), (Adrienne Muncy (2004), and most recently Polly Ricciardo (2007). One German student, Adrienne Muncy, was named to the highest honor of Master of Ceremonies for the 2004 event.
