The K-12 teaching major and the secondary teaching major and minor in Spanish

Students may complete a K-12 teaching major, a secondary teaching major, or a secondary teaching minor in Spanish. All major and minor programs of study include coursework designed to help students to develop their language proficiency as well as their knowledge of history, culture, and literature. In order to enhance their language skills and to experience daily life in the target culture, majors and minors must participate in an approved study abroad experience lasting at least six weeks.
