STREAM MONITORING

TEMPERATURE - COLDWATER FISHERY

Monitoring sites are shown by the black dots and labled 1-10 (location of each road crossing where samples are drawn are listed at bottom of this page).  The separate areas are based on the area that drains directly to each monitoring station.  Of course, some pollution could be transported through the stream from farther upstream (for example, the problems at monitoring station 3 may be partly due to pollution washing off of the areas that drain into station 1 and station 2, as well as the area draining into station 3).

*******NOTE: ONLY SITES 1-4 ARE ON PAINT CREEK, THE DESIGNATED COLDWATER FISHERY.  SITES 5-10 SHOULD ONLY MEET STANDARD FOR WARMWATER FISHERY ********
