MACROINVERTEBRATE STUDY

Results of the macroinvertebrate study shows an increase in number of insect families and an increase in sensitive and EPT families downstream in the watershed (low numbers are upstream sites and higher numbers are downstream sites). Locations of monitoring sites are listed below.      



Location of stations:

Station 0: Paint Creek crossing Ellsworth Rd (Montibeller Park).
Station 1: Paint Creek emerging under Congress Rd.
Station 2: Paint Creek crossing John L Hart Parkway (off of Whittaker)
Station 3B: Paint Creek crossing Textile Rd.
Station 4: Paint Creek crossing Rosbolt Rd. (off Tuttle Hill)
Station 5: Stony Creek crossing Whittaker Rd. (near intersection with Liss)
Station 7: Stony Creek crossing Timbers Rd.
Station 9: Stony Creek crossing Telegraph Rd.
